White Christmas Fudge Recipe

    1 tsp. plus 1/4 cup butter, divided
    2-1/2 glasses confectioners' sugar
    2/3 cup milk
    12 oz. white-colored cookiing candy, chopped
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    3/4 cup chopped nuts, toasted
    1/4 cup chopped dry apricots
    1/4 cup dry cherries
    1/4 cup dry cranberries


    Line a 9-in. rectangle pan with aluminum foil and oil the aluminum foil with 1 tsp. butterr; set abaye.
    In a large heavy pot, merge the confectioners' glucose, dairy products and staying butter. Prepare and mix over method warm until mixed. Bring to a boil; steam for 5 minutes without mixing. Reduce warm to low; mix in sweet. Prepare and mix until candy is dissolved.
    Eliminate from the heat; mix in draw out. Flip in the nuts, plums, cherries and red grapes. Instantly propagate into prepared pan. Chill for 2 hours or until set.
    Using aluminum foil, raise fudge out of pan. Remove foil; cut fudge into 1-in. items. Staore in the fridge. Yield: about 2 pounds.
