Old-Fashioned Lollipops Recipe
 Children of all age groups will enjoy these fun spicey lollipops. I obtained the formula from my sister-in-law decades ago. We still create them in a spectrum of gemstone shades in her storage every Xmas. They're excellent storing stuffers




Ingredients

    1 cup light maize syrup
    2/3 cup sugar
    1-1/2 tsp orange, apple or cherry flavoring
    1/8 tsp. yellow-colored, green or red fluid meals coloring

Directions

    Place lollipop stays in difficult sweets moulds or organize stays 3 in. apart on oiled foil-lined cooking sheets; set abaye.
    In a heavy pot, merge maize syrup and glucose. Bring to a steam over method warm, mixing sometimes. Cover and prepare for 3 minutes to melt glucose gems. Discover and prepare over medium-high warm, without mixing, until a sweets temperature gauge flows 300° (hard-crack stage).
    Eliminate from the heat; mix in flavor and meals shading, keeping face away from combination as smell is very strong. Instantly add into prepared moulds or add free-form over finishes of lollipop stays on cooking linens. Let cool before eliminating. Yield: 1 number of.

Editor's Note: We suggest that you analyze your sweets temperature gauge before each use by providing water to a boil; the temperature gauge should read 212°. Modify your formula temperature up or down based on your analyze.
