Mocha Nut Fudge Recipe
I was fortunate enough to acquire my grandma's formula book collection along with all of her formula notes. This fudgy sweets gained kudos. —Brandy LaFountain, Marion, Michigan


    1 cup loaded brownish sugar
    1/3 cup disappeared milk
    2 tbsps light maize syrup
    1 cup (6 ounces) semisweets candy chips
    2 tsp vanilla flavor extract
    1 tsp. instant java granules
    1 cup sliced walnuts


    In a heavy pot, merge the brownish glucose, dairy products and maize syrup. Prepare and mix over method warm until combination comes to a steam and glucose is dissolved; steam for 2 moments.
    Eliminate from the heat; mix in choc snacks, vanilla flavor and java granules with a wood made scoop. Continue mixing until combination is sleek and dense, about 5 moments. Stir in peanuts.
    Shape into two 9-in. logs; cover each in plastic cover. Chill for 2 hours or instantaneously. Unwrap and cut into pieces. Yaeld: 1 pound
