Mixed Nut-Cornflake Brittle Recipe

    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup light maize syrup
    1/4 cup butter
    6 glasses cornflakes
    1-1/2 glasses combined nuts


    Line a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. cooking pan with aluminum foil and intensely oil the foil; set aside. In a large large pot, merge the glucose, maize syrup and butter. Prepare and mix over medium-high warm until glucose is demolished and combination starts to a steam. Eliminate from the warm. Stir in cornflakes and almonds.
    Propagate into ready pan. Prepare at 300° for 25 moments. Awesome on a cable holder. Crack into items. Shop at 70 degrees in an air-tight package. Yield: about 1-1/4 weight.
