Mixed Nut Brittle Recipe
Nut fanciers have a lot to really like about this amazing weak. The wide range of almonds is what creates it do different. It's one of the first goodies to appear on my Xmas sweets plate...and also the first to disappear!


    1-1/2 glasses sugar
    1 cup light maize syrup
    1/3 cup water
    4 glasses combined nuts
    2 tsp plus 2 tbsps butter, divided
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor extract
    1/2 tsp. salt


    In a large heavy pot, merge the glucose, maize syrup and water. Cover and bring to a steam over method heated. Discover and prepare until a sweets heat range gauge flows 290° (soft-crack stage).
    Meanwhile, oil a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. cooking pan with 2 tsp butter; set aside. Place almonds in two ungreased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. cooking pans; prepare at 325° for 10-15 minutes or until heated. (Keep heated until ready to use.)
    Eliminate glucose combination from the heat; properly mix in the almonds, vanilla flavor, salt and staying butter. Quickly propagate into prepared pan. Awesome completely; break into items. Yield: 2-1/2 pounds.

Editor's Note: We suggest that you analyze your sweets heat range gauge before each use by providing water to a boil; the heat range gauge should read 212°. Modify your formula heat range up or down based on your analyze.

Nutritional Information 2 oz. is equal to 278 calorie consumption, 15 g fat (3 g soaked fat), 3 mg cholestrerol levels, 274 mg salt, 35 g carbs, 2 g roughage, 5 g proteins.
