Mamie Eisenhower's Fudge Recipe

    1 tbsp plus 1/2 cup butter, divided
    3 dairy products sweets candy cafes (two 7 oz., one 1.55 ounces), accessed pieces
    4 glasses (24 ounces) semisweet sweets chips
    1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
    1 can (12 ounces) disappeared milk
    4-1/2 glasses sugar
    2 glasses sliced walnuts


    Line a 13-in. x 9-in. pan with aluminum foil and butter the aluminum foil with 1 tbsp butter; set aside. In a huge heat-proof dish, merge the sweets cafes, choc snacks and marshmallow creme; set aside.
    In a huge heavy pot over medium-low warm, merge the dairy products, glucose and staying butter. Bring to a steam, mixing regularly. Boil and mix for 4-1/2 minutes. Add over sweets mixture; mix until sweets is dissolved and combination is sleek and frothy. Stir in peanuts. Add into ready pan. Cover and cool until company.
    Using aluminum foil, raise fudge out of pan; cut into 1-in. pieces. Store in an air-tight package in the fridge. Yield: about 6 pounds.
