Creamy Caramels Recipe

    1 tsp. plus 1 cup butter, divided
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup dark maize syrup
    1 can (14 ounces) sweet compressed milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor taste extract


    Line an 8-in.-square pan with foil; oil the metal aluminum foil with 1 tsp. butter and set aside.
    In a huge large pot, combine glucose, maize syrup and remaining butter; bring to a vapor over method heated, combining consistently. Steam progressively for 4 minutes without combining.
