Classic Red Velvet Heart Cakes Recipe

Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1-1/2 glasses sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor extract
    1 cup buttermilk
    2 tbsps red meals coloring
    2 glasses all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup cooking cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1-1/2 tsp cooking soda
    1 tbsp vinegar
    1 can (16 ounces) vanilla flavor frosting
    1 cup small semisweet choc treates, optional

Directions

    In a dish, cream butter and glucose. Beat in egg and vanilla flavor. Merge dairy products and meals coloring; set aside. Merge flour, candy and salt; add to creamed combination alternatively with dairy products combination. Mix well. Mix in everyday and therapy. Add into a oiled and floured 13-in. x 9-in. cooking pan.
    Prepare at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until dessert test done. Cool on a wire holder. Cut into pieces or mark top of dessert with a 3-in. heart-shaped card board design or standard and cut with a knife. Snow with vanilla flavor icing. Spread with choc snacks if desired. Yield: 12-15 meals.
