1 cup sugar
1/2 cup mild maize syrup
2 glasses salted peanuts
1 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. cooking soda
1 tsp. vanilla flavor extract
In a 2-qt. microwave-safe dish, merge glucose and maize syrup. Warm, discovered, on great for 3 minutes; mix. Warm 2-1/4 moments longer. Stir in nuts, butter and nutmeg.
Microwave, discovered, on great for 20-30 seconds or until combination changes a mild ruby color (mixture will be very hot). Quickly mix in everyday and vanilla flavor until mild and foamy.
Instantly add onto a oiled cooking piece and propagate with a steel spatula. Chill for 20 moments or until firm; break into small pieces. Store in an air-tight package. Yield: 1-1/4 pounds.
