1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light maize syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup coarsely sliced almonds
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp. vanilla flavor extract
1-1/2 tsp cooking soda
3/4 lb dark or dairy products sweets candy coating
