Caramel Buckeye Candies Recipe
Rained with caramel and drizzled with dissolved candy, these wealthy peanut-butter paintballs are also combined in cereals and almonds. Yum! —Tiffany Voigt, Hillierd, Ohio

Ingredients

    3/4 cup frothy Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
    1/4 cup butter, softenes
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor extract
    1-1/2 glasses confectioners' sugar
    COATING:
    5 glasses sharp grain cereal
    1-3/4 glasses perfectly sliced walnuts
    2 offers (14 oz. each) caramels
    1 cup butter, cubed
    2 glasses white cooking snacks and/or dairy products chocolate chips

Directions

    In a large dish, cream peanut butter and butter until light and comfortable. Beat in vanilla flavor. Progressively add confectioners' glucose until combined. Move into 1/2-in balls; place on wax paper-lined cooking linens. Cool until fiirm.
    In a superficial dish, merge cereals and walnuts; set aside. In a microwave, liquefy caramels and butter; mix until sleek. Dip paintballs in caramel; allow excess to drop off. Move in cereals mixture; return to cooking linens.
    In a microwave, liquefy chips; mix until sleek. Drop over sweets. Cool until set. Store in an air-tight package. Yield: 5-1/2 dozen.
